Our Roots in Gosheim
The history of Laudenbach Formtechnik is closely linked to the municipality of Gosheim and the life journey of its founder, Franz Laudenbach. Here, at the foot of the Heuberg, he founded his family and, with courage, diligence, and craftsmanship, laid the cornerstone for a company that today is known throughout Europe for its precision and innovative strength.
After initial professional roles in the region, Franz Laudenbach decided to venture into self-employment in 1990. This courageous decision was driven by his conviction that plastic had greater potential. In a rented building in Gosheim, he began manufacturing injection molded parts and tool components. Thanks to high quality standards, functional thinking, and genuine passion, the company steadily grew.
In 2000, the company moved into its own building on Sturmbühl. This provided not only space for growth but also a solid foundation for modern administration, in-house logistics, and efficient production processes. Throughout this, Gosheim remained more than just a location; it is home, origin, and an integral part of the company’s identity.
Franz Laudenbach was and remains deeply rooted in his home municipality. The history of his family, the construction of his own home, his first professional steps, and the growth of the company – all are closely tied to Gosheim. The respectful interaction, regional groundedness, and willingness to take responsibility continue to define Laudenbach Formtechnik’s identity today.

Summer Party
At our summer festival this year, 2025, our founder and owner Franz Laudenbach, who founded the company Laudenbach Formtechnik exactly 35 years ago on August 1, 1990, was surprised with a “birthday cake”.
We would like to take this opportunity to point you to our new LinkedIn presence, where we are also represented as Laudenbach Formtechnik. We would be delighted if you would follow us on LinkedIn and be informed about current topics there.
Summer Party
On Friday, August 1, 2025, we held our annual summer party at our premises, enjoying sunshine and a great atmosphere. A well-known local caterer prepared a fantastic barbecue for us, allowing us to enjoy a relaxed and pleasant afternoon.
An unexpected highlight was the presentation of a “birthday cake” to our founder and owner Franz Laudenbach, who founded the company Laudenbach Formtechnik exactly 35 years ago on August 1, 1990. Our owner also did not miss the opportunity to cut the sweet surprise himself and serve it to the employees. He had not expected this gesture from the workforce.
Twice a year, it is a cherished tradition at Laudenbach Formtechnik to foster camaraderie and community with good food and drink, celebrating away from daily routines. You can look forward to the next report here, as the 2025 Christmas party is just around the corner.
