Our planetary gears offer compact, high-performance solutions for applications with limited installation space and high demands on precision and smooth running. All variants are available in a robust plastic design, optionally with or without reinforcing fibers. We process a wide range of common high-performance plastics, including glass or carbon fiber-reinforced materials as well as unreinforced thermoplastics. The material chosen depends entirely on your requirements regarding mechanical strength, temperature resistance, weight and service life. Our planetary gears are characterized by an optimized tooth profile, low friction and high sliding properties. Production is carried out with high precision and is scalable for both small and large series.

Spur Gear

Spur gears are among the most frequently used designs in gear technology. In numerous projects, we have implemented precise solutions based on high-performance materials and optimized gearing concepts. Our production is designed for demanding geometries and fine tolerances in the plastics sector, which means that spur gears can be implemented efficiently and reliably at Laudenbach Formtechnik. Suitable processes and materials are also available for special requirements in the small module range (min. m=0.5).

Special Gear

Special gear teeth go far beyond standard tooth geometries and are tailored to specific requirements. A hybrid toothing system enables a significant increase in power transmission and comes very close to the strength of aluminum.

  • In the case of plastic-metal special gearing, the usual standardization is sometimes dispensed with.
  • Plastic gearing is increasingly used in the field of metal substitution for cost reasons.

The design of the part also has a significant influence on the accuracy. Overall, the entire process chain must be known and strictly monitored.

A particular challenge for toolmaking is to incorporate the optimized part as a negative into the injection molding tool in order to ultimately obtain an injection molded part with the increasing demands on accuracy that go far beyond what the plastic itself can provide!

Our compact cable winch made of high-quality plastic has been specially developed for professional drone use. The internal planetary gear ensures reliable and even power transmission, even under continuous load.

Thanks to its low weight, the winch can be easily integrated into a wide variety of drone systems without negatively affecting flight performance. The robust plastic construction combines stability with durability and makes the winch virtually maintenance-free.

Assembly is quick and easy, making it ideal for flexible use. In addition to logistics, such as the delivery of loads up to 6 kg, the cable winch opens up a wide range of possible applications, from inspections and technical assistance to individual special solutions.
